アレキサンダーワン。
ニューヨークのデザイナーでアジア系のデザインナーで若くして一躍脚光を浴びた。

デビューしたシーズンのルックを見た時は自分は学生だったけど、凄くリアリティとクリエーションのバランスが良くてウィメンズで1番好きなデザイナーだった。

先日は直営店に行って参りました。

当初はウィメンズしかなくて、途中からユニセックスのTってラインが出て来てそれは別に見ても何も思わなかったかな。

今はメンズもやっていてそれまでのメンズの印象はすごくヨーロッパっぽいもの作りと言うか、スタイリングが必ずモノトーンで近未来感がるスポーティなハイファッションってイメージだった。

今回よりカジュアルでアメリカっていうことをすごく強く意識したような、まるでポロスポーツから着想を得ている様な物が多くあった。

刺繍、発泡のプリントやロゴを総プリントみたいな少し鈍臭いのも多くあったけど売れるのはその辺りだと思う。

嘘の鎧身に纏った空虚の様な作り笑顔は浮かばない。

個人的にはヘリンボーンのシャツのセットアップがクラシックでカッコいいと思った。

物づくりに関して染色、加工が細くパウダーだったりピグメントなどを組み合わせていて出したいイメージが明確にあるんだろうね。

脇にスピンドルを入れて、スピンドルの調整でシャーシングを入れたり、内袖を摘んで分量取って変わったシェイプを作ったりする手法が多かった。

裏毛とかであっても二重構造にしてあって独特のドレープ感が出るような物、袖も二重構造にして表の生地を弛ませる物も多くあって今見ると悪くない。

昔クリスヴァンアッシュのメンズで良くやってたなーって思い出した。

パーティーシーンを想定したような物っていうのは少し減っていてより普段着に落とし込まれた製品が増えていて、メインストリームのストリートに寄せているなって印象。

靴やバッグ、ウィメンズの物は前にジルサンダーであった様なパン屋の袋みたいな形に違う素材を当て込んだやつとかが売れそう。

それは女性問わずメンズが持つのもおすすめです。
